Epidemiologist
Jelena joined the Nuffield Department of Population Health in 2020 to work as an epidemiologist for the UK Biobank cohort. Jelena’s role involves providing scientific review of research applications, advising researchers on how to maximise the use of the UK Biobank resource, as well as contributing to enhancing the dataset.
Jelena holds a PhD in molecular epidemiology from Imperial College London. Her research interests are in investigating the role of metabolic dysfunction in cancer development.
