Victoria Stalker

Project Manager

Victoria works in the Cancer Epidemiology Unit (CEU) as a project manager for a Cancer Research UK funded project on the Associations of Ethnicity and Breast Cancer. The project, led by Dr Toral Gathani, aims to shed light on the variation in breast cancer in different ethnic minority groups.

Prior to this, she worked as a clinical trial manager in the National Perinatal Epidemiology (NPEU) Clinical Trial Unit, first on a trial investigating the clinical management of tongue-tie and impact on breastfeeding in babies, and then on a trial evaluating nutritional supplementation on neurodevelopmental outcomes in very preterm babies and babies born with a brain injury.

Victoria has previously worked in trial coordination within cancer and haematology, both in the University of Oxford and the NHS, including surgical trials, drug trials and genome and biobanking studies.

Before entering the world of clinical research, she graduated with a BSc and MA in Geography and worked abroad within the non-governmental sector.
