Victoria Stalker

Project Manager

I currently work within the Cancer Epidemiology Unit as a project manager for a Cancer Research UK funded project on the Associations of Ethnicity and Breast Cancer, led by Dr Toral Gathani, which aims to shed light on the variation in breast cancer in different ethnic minority groups.

Prior to this I worked as a clinical trial manager within NPEU CTU, first on a trial investigating the clinical management of tongue-tie and impact on breastfeeding in babies, and then on a trial evaluating nutritional supplementation on neurodevelopmental outcomes in very preterm babies and babies born with a brain injury.

I have previously worked in trial coordination within cancer and haematology, both in the University of Oxford and the NHS, including surgical trials, drug trials and genome and biobanking studies.

Before entering the world of clinical research I graduated with a BSc and MA in Geography and worked abroad within the non-governmental sector.
