This meeting will take place in the East Wing of the Saïd Business School, Park End Street, Oxford OX1 1HP. The first session will start at 13.00 on Monday 11 September; lunch will be available at the Saïd Business School at 12.00. There will be a special conference dinner on Tuesday 12 September at Christ Church. 

 

Accommodation and meals

We are offering collaborators accommodation in one of the University of Oxford’s colleges (either St Anne’s, Balliol or another college) free of charge.  Breakfast and most evening meals are included, including a special conference dinner, preceded by a drinks reception, on Tuesday 12 September at Christ Church. Lunch will be provided at the Saïd Business School on the three days of the meeting. Please note that accommodation is in standard single en suite student rooms. If you would prefer to make your own arrangements for hotel accommodation, breakfast and evening meals, please let us know by contacting the EBCTCG meeting organiser Hannah Calkin at bc.meeting@ndph.ox.ac.uk Note, though, that we are not able to cover the costs of this.

 

Getting here

Coach from London, Heathrow or Gatwick

There is a regular coach service from both Heathrow and Gatwick airports to Oxford city centre. Taxis are available at the Gloucester Green Bus Station in Oxford, although the meeting venue, the Saïd Business School, is just a short walk away.

Train

The meeting venue, the Saïd Business School, is adjacent to Oxford train station.

There is a direct mainline service between Oxford, London and Birmingham. From Heathrow Airport there is a fast train link to London Paddington which connects directly with services to Oxford. 

Please be aware that rail strikes happening across the country can disrupt travel. We will keep this page updated if and when we hear of any disruption that will affect your travel into Oxford.
