Murong Yang joined the Health Economics Research Centre (HERC) as a researcher in March 2024. Her current research focuses on using econometric and epidemiological methods to investigate and explain disparities in infection incidence, treatment, and outcomes.
Murong originally joined HERC in 2019 as a DPhil student in Population Health. Her DPhil research explored the relationship between family income and child mental health from early childhood to adolescence in the UK. She holds an MSc in Industrial Economics from Shandong University and an MSc in Health Economics from the University of York.
