Katarzyna Doniec is a Postdoctoral Researcher in Demography and Population Health at the Demographic Science Unit and Leverhulme Centre for Demographic Science. She works on the MORTAL project.
The main goal of Katarzyna’s research is to further our understanding of the relationship between population health and social determinants of health through sociological theories and demographic methods. In particular, she is interested in how gender roles and social values interact with health-related behaviours in shaping population health outcomes.
Prior to joining Oxford, Katarzyna was a Max Weber Fellow at the European University Institute in Florence and obtained an MPhil in Social Psychology and a PhD in Sociology from the University of Cambridge.
