Other methods of dissemination

As well as reports and publications, UKMCRG has disseminated findings from the studies in a number of other ways.

Professor Michael Goldacre and other members of the project team have described the work of UKMCRG and results from the studies on numerous occasions at conferences and seminars, and to meetings of medical school Deans and Directors of Postgraduate Medical Education.

Specific requests for information from the studies from the NHS Executive are answered. This includes, from time to time, contributions to answers to Parliamentary Questions (PQs) where the studies provide relevant data.

We also provide information to other Department of Health groups such as the Doctors and Dentists Review Board (DDRB).

UKMCRG has also liaised with a number of outside organisations and individuals with interests in medical education.
