I am currently performing genome-wide association studies using the China Kadoorie Biobank data. The phenotypic, genetic and environment variances were collected and standardised. We are investigating the genetic causes of trait variation within and between populations.
I graduated in bioinformatics (PhD) at the National Institute for Medical Research, MRC. After working in Biomathematics & Statistics Scotland, I went to the Institute of Psychiatry, King’s College, London. I joined NDPH in early 2016.
My former research interests include protein structure prediction, protein residue contact prediction and Bayesian network modelling of gene expression.
