Danyao Jin

HDR UK Early Career Research Fellow
Danyao works for HDR UK project as a postdoc researcher at the Clinical Trial Service Unit & Epidemiological Studies Unit (CTSU) and as a visiting researcher at the Cardiovascular Epidemiology Unit (CEU), University of Cambridge since 2023 after completing her PhD.
She is working on the Mexico City Prospective Study and conducting various OmicsPred related analyses including the development and application of new genetic scores as well as transferability analyses in admixed ancestry population.
Danyao joined the CTSU in 2020 for her DPhil research which focused on metabolomics and coronary heart disease risk using data from the UK Biobank.
Danyao holds a Master of Science degree in epidemiology at Harvard University and a Bachelor of Medicine degree at Peking University. Prior to joining the department, she worked as a research assistant at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Centre.
