Adele is a researcher with the National Perinatal Epidemiology Unit (NPEU) working on the national Perinatal Mortality Review Tool programme with Prof Jenny Kurinczuk.

In the past, as a researcher in the field of mindfulness, mental health and behaviour change, Adele has been involved in several studies on the feasibility and effectiveness of web-based mindfulness courses for reducing stress, anxiety and depression over the perinatal period. For this, she has created face-to-face and online interventions for various groups.

Adele has a DPhil in Psychiatry from the University of Oxford.
