Focused Cardiac Ultrasound (FoCUS) Solutions, was developed by the MaatHRI (Maternal and perinatal Health Research collaboration, India), together with experts from the Cardiovascular Clinical Research Facility at the University of Oxford. The protocol aims to guide the diagnosis of cardiac problems in pregnant women in resource-limited settings around the world, using a low-cost, point-of-care, hand-held cardiac ultrasound device.
