DPhil Student

Janice joined the Cancer Epidemiology Unit (CEU) in October 2024 as a DPhil student in Population Health and is funded by a departmental scholarship. 

Her research focuses on leveraging large longitudinal cohorts to examine the associations between various lifestyle factors, such as diet and physical activity, and cancer incidence. Janice is particularly interested in how lifestyle modifications can contribute to cancer prevention and improve long-term health outcomes. She is supervised by Dr Tammy Tong and Dr Keren Papier. 

Janice graduated with a Master of Science in Epidemiology from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health in 2024, and a Bachelor in Preventive Medicine from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2022.
