Greg Simond
DPhil student
Greg is a DPhil student on the Cancer Science programme, funded by Cancer Research UK.
His work aims to develop prediction models for the early detection of various cancers, particularly in a primary care context. To achieve this, Greg will apply a combination of traditional statistical methods and modern artificial intelligence techniques to the wealth of data available in UK Biobank.
Prior to this, Greg completed the first four years of his medical degree at Oxford, to which he will return upon completion of the DPhil.
