Emre Oguzman
Health Data Epidemiologist
Emre is a Health Data Epidemiologist working in the Applied Health Research Unit (AHRU).
He joined the Unit in 2023 and conducts epidemiological and health services research using a variety of linked data resources, including English national Hospital Episode Statistics, cancer registry data, and national mortality (civil registration) records.
In previous roles with Hertfordshire County Council, Hertfordshire Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust and the University of Cambridge, Emre gained experience in providing data and intelligence to support evidence-based decision making, strategy development, and service planning, and identifying resources that could help improve the quality of data on health inequalities.
Emre holds an MSc in Public Health from the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine.
