Calum joined the Ethox Centre as a DPhil candidate in Population Health in October 2021, supervised by Dr Mark Sheehan, Dr Rebecca Brown, and Dr Natalie Savona from the London School of Hygiene &Tropical Medicine.
Supported by an Oxford Population Health scholarship, his research looks at big data, the commercial determinants of health and young people’s health behaviours.
Before joining Ethox, Calum worked as a consultant in the Behavioural and Cultural Insights Unit at the World Health Organization.
He earned his MPhil in Health, Medicine and Society from Cambridge University in 2018, and a BA in Philosophy from Bristol University in 2016.
