The deadline for applications for the Prostate Cancer Epidemiology DPhil (October 2015 admission) has been extended to 15 May 2015.

This Cancer Research UK-funded studentship will fully fund a single student for up to four years with a generous £19,000 stipend.

Those wishing to apply should have a 2.1 or higher degree in a quantitative science and ideally an MSc in a related subject. Candidates should also have a strong interest in cancer epidemiology. The project involves statistical and epidemiological research skills.  Students will require previous programming experience of using statistical analysis packages and analysis of large datasets and an aptitude and interest in extending these skills. Training in the use and interpretation of such analyses will be provided.
