Software/Data Engineer
Tameera is a Data Engineer in the Clinical Trial Service Unit at Oxford Population Health. She works across the data engineering pipeline on projects using both NHS trust and national level cancer data.
Her past work has primarily been in data engineering, science and analytics using cancer and health datasets within NHS’s National Disease Registration Service on projects like the COloRECTal cancer Repository (CORECT-R), CanGeneCanVar and national audits like the Post Colonoscopy ColoRectal Cancer (PCCRC) and Post-Endoscopy Upper GastroIntestinal Cancer (PEUGIC).
She has a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Surrey on applying machine learning techniques for predicting suitable vaccines for Foot-and-Mouth disease and Influenza outbreaks.
