Since 2020 Robin has been working on ACST-2 (the second Asymptomatic Carotid Surgery Trial), a long-running study into the stroke risk of two treatments for carotid artery disease. Previous to this he spent 6 years working in the NDPH's Wolfson Laboratories.
Before that, he spent some time as an Alumni Database Officer at both Oxford Brookes University and one of the constituent colleges of the University of Oxford. Prior to that, he was a mechanical engineering draughtsman, including for a company that made ultrasound fetal heart detection and monitoring equipment.
