Joanna Blaszczyk
Joanna Blaszczyk joined Oxford Population Health in August 2025 as Events Coordinator within the Communications Team. In this role, she is responsible for planning, organisation and delivery of departmental events. Ranging from internal meetings and seminars to large-scale conferences and public engagement activities. Her work involves coordinating venues and suppliers, managing event communications and registration, and ensuring events run smoothly both in-person and online. Before joining Oxford Population Health, Joanna worked as Events Officer at ISIS Neutron and Muon Source (part of STFC / UKRI), where she organised a range of high-profile activities and events to celebrate ISIS Neutron and Muon Source's 40th anniversary. Alongside her professional work, she has been active in charitable initiatives, notably founding Paczka na Gwiazdke (Christmas Gift), a nationwide project in Poland delivering Christmas gifts to children undergoing cancer treatment. Her career began in Cracow, where she gained early experience in customer service and organisation while working for a tour operator / travel agency.
