SINEPOST Data Co-ordinator / Administrative Assistant

Zoe Daskalopoulou joined the National Perinatal Epidemiology Unit in the Nuffield Department of Population Health in September 2021 and is the Data Co-ordinator/Administrative Assistant for the SINEPOST study. The SINEPOST study is a collaboration with the University of Bristol, to investigate the impact of antenatal or neonatal exposure to SARS-CoV-2 infection on infants’ developmental and social-emotional outcomes.

Zoe previously worked as a data analyst/laboratory technician at Embryogenesis IVF clinic in Athens, Greece. In that role, she was heavily involved in the development and optimisation of an applied ML program designed for the prediction of embryo quality and ploidy. She graduated from the University of Aberdeen with an MSc in Reproductive and Developmental Biology and also holds a BSc (Hons) in Genetics from Aberystwyth University.
