Zhaojing Che
Medical Statistician
Zhaojing is a Medical Statistician within the Renal Studies Group at the Clinical Trials Service Unit & Epidemiological Studies Unit (CTSU). She works on large-scale chronic kidney disease (CKD) trials, including EMPA-KIDNEY and EASi-KIDNEY, and associated meta-analyses.
Before joining CTSU in 2024, she completed her PhD in Statistical Science at University College London, where her research focused on Bayesian survival modelling for health economic evaluation. Her methodological research led to the development of an open-source R package (blendR). She also holds an MSc in Statistics from Imperial College London and a BSc in Mathematics and Statistics from the University of Edinburgh.
Her research interests include survival analysis, Bayesian modelling, meta-analysis, and the application of rigorous statistical methodology to renal and cardiovascular clinical trials.
