Qinfang is a trainee fellow in the Clinical Trial Service Unit and Epidemiological Studies Unit (CTSU) working with the Mexico City Prospective Study (MCPS) research group.
She completed an MSc in Global Health Science and Epidemiology at the University of Oxford. During her MSc studies, she conducted a research placement focused on an individual’s total homozygosity burden and its associations with cardiometabolic traits using data from MCPS, supervised by Dr Diego Aguilar-Ramírez and Dr Jason Torres. In her current role she is expanding this research to include a broader range of phenotypes, aiming to explore the impact of homozygosity in shaping health conditions comprehensively.
Before joining Oxford Population Health, she obtained a First-Class Honours BSc in Economics and Statistics at University College London.
