Nechama Tatz-Wieder

Nechama's DPhil research uses computational methods to research UTR characteristics and how variants in them can lead to rare disease. She has long-standing interests and efforts in patient advocacy and medical ethics.
Nechama obtained a BSc in Biomedical Sciences (Genetics) at Brunel University London and then an MRes at UCL in Biosciences (Genetics).
When she is not genetics-ing she enjoys countryside walks, doing jigsaw puzzles and slothing.
