Mr Joe Miller

Joe Miller

Graduate Studies Assistant

MSC GLOBAL HEALTH SCIENCE AND EPIDEMIOLOGY

As the administrative assistant for the MSc course, Joe provides support to both students and staff. His role includes acting as a first point of contact for all timetabled activities, coordinating teaching delivery, and working with the Course Directors to support the smooth running of the programme.

He joined Oxford Population Health in March 2026. Prior to this, he taught English in France, Italy, and Germany, as well as working as a private tutor. He also worked as an Academic and Events Coordinator at Hong Kong Design Institute. His academic background is in modern languages, holding a BA in French and German from the University of Oxford (St Hugh’s College).

His interest in global health stems from having travelled extensively and living in multiple countries, thus observing global health inequalities first-hand. He has coordinated a number of independent fundraising campaigns for health charities, including Macmillan Cancer Support, the Mental Health Foundation, and the NSPCC.
