Biomarker Specialist

Hamish Woodhouse is a Biomarker Specialist at the NDPH Wolfson Laboratories. He completed his BSc with first-class honours in Biomedical Science at The University of Wales, Bangor in 2013. A licentiate member of the Institute of Biomedical Science (IBMS), Hamish joined CTSU in 2019 having worked for the NHS as a HCPC registered biomedical scientist specialising in clinical biochemistry. 

At CTSU he administers complex laboratory instrumentation while ensuring all work is carried out in compliance with the regulatory requirements necessary for large-scale epidemiological trials (ISO 17025, GCLP, HTA etc.). He is actively involved in the evaluation and implementation of new biomarker methodologies to support new studies as they come online.
