The MRC has awarded the University of Oxford one early-career non-clinical fellowship in the area of Health Data Research. The fellowship will be for a 3-year period starting on 15th February 2018.
The aim of the fellowship is to support and develop outstanding early-career non-clinical researchers to enable them to successfully apply for external funding opportunities, and to foster and develop future leaders in Health Data research. The Fellow will be employed by the Nuffield Department of Population Health (NDPH), and will be based at the Big Data Institute (BDI) in Oxford.
Applications are welcome from researchers with emerging independence in a field connected to Health Data Research UK (HDR UK). The successful candidate will plan, manage and conduct an agreed academic research project and associated activities, taking direction from the NDPH/BDI Principal Investigator and other colleagues in the research group as appropriate.
The Fellowship may cover the holder’s salary, support for a research assistant, where relevant, along with appropriate consumables and travel costs. Further information can be found here.
The closing date for receipt of applications is Tuesday 9th January 2018. Interviews will be held in Oxford on 23rd January 2018 and the person must be in post by 15th February 2018.
