This year's short course on 'Prevention Strategies for Non-Communicable Diseases' (NCDs) takes place from Sunday 22 March to Friday 27 March 2015 at Rewley House, Oxford.

The course explores the challenges faced by those who work towards the prevention of  diseases such as stroke, heart disease, diabetes and cancer. Participants will increase their understanding of the burden of NCDs and develop skills to design and evaluate strategies intended to aid their prevention.

The course is presented by the British Heart Foundation Centre on Population Approaches for Non-Communicable Disease Prevention and the Department for Continuing Education.

The course features international experts as part of an extensive programme suitable for researchers, policy makers, postgraduate students and other ealry career professionals working in the field of NCDs.
