Tuck Seng is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the National Perinatal Epidemiology Unit (NPEU), working on a UK-India collaborative platform for maternal and perinatal health research (MaatHRI). His expertise lies in skilfully applying observational and Mendelian randomization analytical approaches to understand aetiology of chronic diseases in mothers and children.
Throughout his research career, he has been mainly involved in multiple pregnancy and birth cohort studies in Singapore (Growing up in Singapore towards healthy Outcomes, GUSTO), Hong Kong (Children of 1997), the UK (Avon Longitudinal Study of Parents and Children, ALSPAC and Millennium Cohort Study) and the United Arab Emirates (The Mutaba'ah study).
Prior to joining the unit, he completed his BSc in Life Sciences at National University of Singapore, MPhil in Epidemiology at University of Hong Kong and PhD in Lifecourse Epidemiology at University of Cambridge.
