Researcher in Genetic Epidemiology
Saredo joined the Nuffield Department of Population Health in September 2021 as a researcher in genetic epidemiology. Saredo's role is in translational molecular epidemiology using data from the China Kadoorie Biobank, as well as from other available sources such as UK Biobank. Saredo's research involves applying techniques in genetic epidemiology to assess drug targets, including Mendelian randomisation, phenome-wide, and multi-omics studies.
Prior to this Saredo obtained a BSc in biomedical science from St George's University London. She obtained an MSc in epidemiology and PhD in molecular and genetic epidemiology from Imperial College London.
