Sarah obtained her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Edinburgh in 2011. She completed her foundation training in Oxford and moved to the North West to take up an NIHR Academic Clinical Fellowship post, where she completed her MRCP and a Post-Graduate Certificate in Global Health from the University of Edinburgh. She commenced dual specialty training in Nephrology and Intensive Care Medicine in 2015. She sits on the Faculty of Intensive Care Medicine e-Portfolio sub-committee and is also Focussed Intensive Care Echocardiography (FICE) accredited. She is currently working as a clinical research fellow on the EMPA-KIDNEY trial.
