Noon studies maternal mortality in Sudan and aims to develop provider-based maternal death review tools. She is co-supervised by Professor Marian Knight and Dr. Manisha Nair and is based at the National Perinatal Epidemiology Unit.

Prior to Oxford, Noon studied for an MBBS at Ahfad University for Women in Sudan. Upon graduation, Noon worked in areas of clinical medicine, population health research, and community engagement in Sudan, South Africa, and the United States of America.
