Dr Ni Gao
MBBS, MSc, MPhil, PhD
Ni joined HERC in May 2021 after finishing her PhD at the Health Economics Research Unit, University of Aberdeen, UK. Ni’s research interests include behaviour economics using longitudinal data and individuals’ preferences using discrete choice experiment.
Ni has worked as a visiting researcher in Health System and Health Economics, at Curtin University, Australia; as a research associate in health economics at Duke-NUS Graduate Medical School; and also at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.
Ni’s background is in both economics and medicine. She obtained her Master degree in economics from the University of Illinois, United States; her MPhil in medicine sciences from The Chinese University of Hong Kong; and her MBBS from Peking University, China.
