Statistical Epidemiologist

Neora is a researcher in maternal and child health investigating the effect of preterm birth on the child’s academic attainment. She originally joined the NPEU in 2015 as a DPhil student working on her thesis titled “An investigation of the association between mode of birth and childhood infectious disease and asthma”.

Neora is an experienced doula (birth-support professional) and childbirth educator. She holds a BSc in Biology and Chemistry and an MSc in Medical Sciences in the field of Human Genetics, both from Tel-Aviv University.

Her research passion is to continue to unlock the multifaceted factors of the perinatal period and their long term effects on the mother and child.
