Natasha Sahgal

Programme Manager – Health Data Science
Natasha joined the team as Programme Manager – Health Data Science, and coordinates a portfolio of projects within the NIHR Oxford BRC Translational Data Science Theme and Health Data Research UK (HDR UK) Oxford programmes.
Prior to joining the BDI, Natasha worked at Imperial College London’s Enterprise Office, where she worked with the NHS staff to translate potential projects into commercial opportunities.
Her post-doctoral work has involved transcriptomic analyses across a broad range of functional genomic projects including expression data, RNA-Seq and whole genome sequencing data with a focus on cancer genetics and the UK Biobank cohort.
She is passionate about data science, healthcare and innovation, enjoys travelling and wishes to learn more languages apart from improving her German.
