MSc, BMedSci (Hons), MBChB (Hons)
DPhil Student
I am reading for a DPhil in Population Health at the Nuffield Department for Population Health, The University of Oxford. My research will be focussing on identifying structural factors that affect outcome post-Carotid intervention. This will involve data analysis from both National Registries and also contemporaneous International administrative datasets. I qualified as a Doctor in 2012 from the University of Edinburgh, having completed an Intercalated BMedSci in 2009. Since my Medical graduation, I have been working full-time clinically but also completed a distance-learning MSc in Surgical Sciences in 2015. I was appointed as a Vascular Surgery Registrar in 2016 and completed my first year of Higher Surgical Training before stepping out of programme to pursue my research interests. After completing my DPhil, I intend to complete my Higher Surgical Training whilst also continuing to balance both my research and clinical commitments.
