Medical Statistician and DPhil Student

Jake is a medical statistician working in a Cancer Research UK research programme on the benefits and risks of breast cancer treatments at the Clinical Trials Service Unit and Epidemiology Studies Unit (CTSU). He is primarily involved in observational studies of breast cancer and lymphomas to provide information that can be used by clinicians in clinics. 

He completed his undergraduate degrees in mathematics and statistics at the University of Warwick, and his MSc in medical statistics at the University of Leicester, before joining CTSU in 2018. 

Since 2022, he is also undertaking a part-time DPhil within NDPH. Jake aims to provide the information to make appropriate decisions regarding radiotherapy when treating early breast cancer.
