Edward Horn

Lead Data Analyst

I am the team leader for the UK Biobank Data Analysis team in Oxford. I originally joined UK Biobank as a Data Analyst in March 2018, and have been the Lead Data Analyst since November 2020.

The team has a varied workload which includes: incorporating into the resource health-related datasets from external data providers, assisting in analysis work for the UK Biobank epidemiology team and for projects that enhance the resource, providing technical assistance to researchers utilising the resource, and ensuring the rigour and validity of the data.

My background is in mathematics, and prior to joining UK Biobank I worked for ten years as a maths teacher
