Ed is working at the Health Economic Research Unit across a range of projects, including the impact of COVID-19 on people with severe mental illness and a trial-based economic evaluation of new child anxiety treatment.
Ed joined HERC in 2021 from a background of economics and policy, having previously worked for the Children’s Commissioner for England, Frontier Economics and the Institute for Fiscal Studies. He has an MSc in Economics from Birkbeck, University of London and a BA in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from the University of Oxford.
His research interests include early childhood development, mental health and the local economic geography of health and inequality.
