Statistical Programmer

Dimitrios joined the Cancer Epidemiology Unit as a statistical programmer. He is responsible for the central management of multiple large databases, including EPIC-Oxford. He also actively collaborates with other researchers on performing statistical analyses and providing advice on data preparation whilst solving common statistical problems. Moreover he is involved in the preparation of reports and articles for publication in peer-reviewed journals, as well as other data and analysis-related documents. His passion for the applications of maths and statistics to medicine was initiated during his BSc in Statistics, while he was a student in the Athens University of Economics and Business and deepened during his MSc in Biostatistics and Epidemiology in the National University of Athens.
