Cody joined the Cancer Epidemiology Unit as a DPhil student in 2019. His research will focus on diet, metabolic meditators such as hormones, and the risk of common cancers (breast, prostate, and colorectal). He is co-supervised by Dr. Aurora Perez-Cornago and Dr. Tim Key.
Prior to beginning his DPhil, Cody completed the MSc in Global Health Science and Epidemiology at the University of Oxford in 2018. Additionally, he has worked on numerous research projects in Canada, namely at The Hospital for Sick Children, University of Manitoba, and CancerCare Manitoba, all of which focused on patient-centred supportive care for individuals living with cancer.
