How to apply

2017-18 Application Deadline

Admissions for entry in October 2017 are now closed.

Admissions for entry in October 2018 will open in September 2017.

 

All candidates for the MSc whose applications are completed by the deadline on 6th January 2017 will automatically be considered for all relevant competitive University funding opportunities, including the Clarendon Fund, Medical Research Council funding, and various College funds.  Please refer to the Graduate Admissions and Funding and Costs webpage for this course for further details relating to funded scholarships and divisional funding opportunities

Applying to the University

All applications for graduate study are processed on the University's Student Management System. Please visit the Applying for graduate study pages for full details.

Candidates are advised to refer to the Application Guide prior to making an application. An application fee of £75 is required prior to uploading your complete application.

College Membership 

The University of Oxford is a collegiate university. When you receive an offer from the Department then your application will also be considered for a place at a college. You can state a college preference on your application form or, if you have no particular preference, a college will assigned to you. What happens after I apply?

The MSc in Global Health Science is an extremely popular course and is often over-subscribed. All applications are carefully considered by an Admissions Panel comprised of at least two members of the academic team. Admissions decisions are notified to applicants in writing. Regrettably, it is not possible for the administrative team to discuss individual application decisions by phone.
