Impact
Findings from the above publication enabled Mara Violato to contribute to the UK Parliament POSTnote (research‑based policy briefing) Children’s wellbeing in schools, published on Thursday 6 February 2025. Drawing on the best evidence from England, the UK and international settings, this POSTnote assesses the role of school education in wellbeing and emotional health promotion. The full policy briefing can be downloaded here.
Furthermore, results from the study were featured in The Times Health Commission report, a major real‑time assessment of the state of the NHS and public health, and in the N8 Research partnership's wide dissemination Improving mental health and wellbeing with and through education settings, which aims to inform government policies to boost children’s mental health through schools.
