PETNECK 2: PET-CT guided, symptom-based, patient-initiated surveillance versus clinical follow-up in advanced head neck cancer

PETNECK2 is a UK-wide, multi-centre, randomised clinical trial to assess whether PETCT-guided, patient-initiated follow-up result in similar overall survival compared to current post-treatment routine surveillance for head and neck cancer patients?  

A within-trial economic component is integrated into the RCT to estimate the cost-effectiveness from the perspective of the UK NHS, patient and society.
