  • Cancer HTA and economic evaluations

EndoNET is a UK‑wide, multi‑centre randomised clinical trial in post‑menopausal women with >T1, ER‑positive, HER2‑negative invasive breast cancer who do not require chemotherapy. The trial aims to assess whether neoadjuvant endocrine therapy (NET) leads to an improvement in global health‑related quality of life over 15 months and increases rates of breast‑conserving surgery compared with standard treatment (immediate surgery followed by adjuvant therapy).

A within‑trial economic evaluation is integrated into the study to estimate the cost‑effectiveness of NET compared with standard care from the perspective of the UK NHS, patients and society.
