Invest4Health is an EU‑funded project that aims to mobilise novel finance models for health promotion and disease prevention.

The consortium combines interdisciplinary expertise with real‑world test beds in diverse health systems. Innovative smart capacitating investment (SCI) models are developed and tested in practical settings to create a roadmap for large‑scale implementation.

The project aims to empower citizens and local communities to participate in decision‑making, ensuring their voices are actively heard. In addition, the consortium will work with industry to design and test a collaborative platform that offers broader opportunities to involve local communities in new governance mechanisms for smart capacitating investments. The validated smart capacitating investment models and tools will enable decision‑makers and policymakers to prioritise risk‑sharing and resource pooling for health promotion and disease prevention at all levels.

The University of Oxford leads a task focused on developing a multidimensional performance‑measurement toolset for evaluating health interventions aimed at health promotion and disease prevention.
