TRANSLATION IN HEALTHCARE - EXPLORING THE IMPACT OF EMERGING TECHNOLOGIES:  the inaugural ELSI 2.0 conference

Oxford, 23-25 June 2015

The conference explored the technological, legal, ethical, and social challenges raised by new technologies in healthcare and focused on 5 themes: what is translation and what are the challenges; the clinic of the future; my data, open data, big data; from bench-side to bedside to populations; and future recommendations. The ELSI 2.0 website was officially launched and Professor Madeleine Murtagh and her team from the University of Bristol introduced the ECOUTER platform.
