Accuracy of recall of surgical histories: A comparison of postal survey data and general practice records
Coulter A., McPherson K., Elliott S., Whiting B.

Agreement between the two data sources was 90 percent for the operations undergone and 82 per cent for the year of operation, a reasonably reassuring result.
