Jamie completed his undergraduate degree in Applied Psychology and Computing at Bournemouth University in 1998 and a Masters degree in Psychology at the University of Essex the following year. More recently he completed a Masters degree in Sport and Exercise Psychology at the University of Chichester, leading to subsequent employment as a Senior Lecturer within the Department of Sport Development and Management. Prior to returning to higher education Jamie worked for the NHS for a number of years within the field of psychological services. He also managed the development of sustainable participation programmes within a partnership between sporting National Governing Bodies and the private leisure industry. He continues to work in a consultancy role for BADMINTON England as a coach educator and assessor.
