Early Career Research Fellow
Lauren is an Early Career Research Fellow in the Centre on Population Approaches for Non-Communicable Disease Prevention (CPNP). Her research focuses on salt reduction in packaged foods and how food companies are responding to voluntary government salt reduction targets in the UK, Ireland and Australia.
Her DPhil research looked at how food sales data and nutrition composition data can be used to monitor changes in the nutritional quality of the food supply. She assessed how different food and soft drink companies have responded to sugar reduction in the UK. She holds an MSc in Food Policy from City University and a BSc in Nutrition from King’s College London.
