Medical Sciences Division.

The Nuffield Department of Population Health conducts world-leading research into the causes, prevention and treatment of diseases worldwide. The department is part of the University of Oxford’s Medical Sciences Division and is situated on the Old Road Campus in Headington.  Studies involve large numbers of people from many countries around the world and help to improve understanding of various conditions including heart disease, cancer, dementia, diabetes and COVID-19.

We are offering the following work experience opportunity in 2022.

POPULATION HEALTH RESEARCH 11-15 JULY 2022

This placement will give students the opportunity to spend time with several groups working on different projects within the department.  Students will gain an insight into various roles, such as epidemiologist, researcher, research assistant, health economist and communications officer.
