Recent projects on people’s experiences of coeliac disease include an investigation of the impact of coeliac disease on quality of life, and the development of a patient-reported outcome measure to assess this impact. Researchers in the unit are collaborating with researchers in the Health Economics Research Centre (HERC) to investigate the availability and cost of gluten-free foods and their impact on coeliac disease.
